Ringlock Scaffold in Hydropower Dam Upgrade
Location: Santa Cruz Province, Argentina
Project Time: February 2023 – November 2024

Project Overview
The Condor Cliff Hydropower Dam in southern Argentina underwent a large-scale upgrade project between 2023 and 2024. The contractor needed a safe and adaptable scaffolding system for spillway reinforcement, turbine installation, and inspection platforms. Harsh wind conditions in Patagonia and variable water levels added to the construction challenges.
Scaffolding Solution
Deployed ringlock scaffold system across the dam wall and spillway sections.
Erected scaffolding towers for turbine hall assembly and inspection access.
Used scaffold tubes and steel planks to create heavy-duty platforms in both indoor and outdoor works.
Applied scaffolding accessories (couplers, clamps, ladders) to ensure stability in challenging environments.

Key Benefits
High load-bearing capacity, meeting the demands of large hydropower infrastructure.
Steel ringlock scaffolding with corrosion resistance, ideal for riverside and humid conditions.
Rapid assembly and dismantling, saving valuable project time.
Flexibility, adapting to both vertical dam structures and indoor mechanical works.
Client Feedback
“The ringlock scaffold system supplied by Zhuozhan proved to be a reliable solution throughout our dam upgrade.
Despite the tough Patagonian climate, it provided excellent safety and efficiency.
Our project was delivered on schedule with minimized risk.”
